He took active interest in the Confregational Church and ineducation and philanthroph y . Later on he settled in Chapinville, N YIn 1834 he moved to a farm near Norwalk, Ohio , a nd after his death ofhis third wife went to live with two of his daughters, where he die d o fold age.
