     Jacob Casner married Peggy Delaney in Washington Co., TN. 01/28/1811.Thewill of John Delaney Sr leaves Margaret's portion of his estate toherdaughter's Peggy & Ruth. They were to receive her part at theircoming ofage. The Chancery Court Minutes of February 1850 states thechildren ofMargaret Cavener wife of Jacob Cavener - both dec'd shallreceive her1/12th portion of her brother David Delaney estate. Daviddied in 1839intestate & single. After Peggy's death Jacob marriedPolly Matlock inRoane Co., TN. 09/28/1816. The witness of Jacob'smarriage to PollyMatlock was a George Pickle. When Jacob arrived fromMississippi in Texasin 1833 he was a widower in a party of 3 malesand 1 female. Jacob laterremarried.
Jacob is listed on the 1846 Poll List of Fort Bend, Texas.

Mrs. Hattie Irwin
Mrs. Hattie Brookman Irwin, 82, fromer Rockford resident, died Wednesdaymorning in Keenes, ILL.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Willwood burialpark. The Rev. Joseph C. Cleveland, pastor of Second CongregationalChurch, will officiate.
Mrs. Irwin lived in Rockford a short time prior to 1940. Following thedeath of her husband, John F. Brookman, here in 1939, she moved toKeenes, where she was married to Wirt Irwin.
Survivors, besides her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Ina Marlowe, andHenry Huff, Jr., all of Rockford; two grandaughters Mrs. Virginia Hill,San Diego, Cal., and Miss Betty Huff, Rockford, and fourgreat-grandchildren. A son and daughter preceded her in death.
Arrangements were completed at Burbee-Wood Funeral home, 420 North MainStreet. Friends are requested to omit flowers.

     John wrote his will June 22, 1822 in Greene Co., TN. At that timehestates he was very weak in body. This is an excerpt from his will.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anna Davis one hundred andfiftydollars which she has received of her portion. I bequeath tomydaughter Eliza Pansell fifty dollars which she has received and Ialsogive unto her one hundred dollars more to be equally dividedamongsther daughters at their arrival at a lawful age to receive it.Ibequeath to my son John Delaney the sum of one dollar. I bequeath tomydaughter Easter deceased and her heirs one hundred and fiftydollars whichin her lifetime she received of her portion. I bequeathto my daughterMargaret deceased and her heirs one hundred dollarswhich she in herlifetime received of her portion and I also giveunto her two daughtersPeggy and Ruth fifty dollars to be equallydivided between them at theircoming of age.      Horace G. McCormick graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1874 andcommenced practice in Montoursville, Pa , remaining there until December,1886. In April, 1887, he located in Williamsport, where he build up alarge practice. He was a member of the Lycoming County Medical Society,of which he was president in 1890-91, and 1891-92. He served as coronerof Lycoming County from January, 1876, until January, 1879.
